We provide you with an HTML5 player that you can embed on any website. That player will display album art automatically. If no album art is found, a default art will be displayed.
Here is how to access and customize your player.
Sections in this article:
Access the player from the console
Select the radio from the dashboard and in the menu, choose Listen > Player.
Personalize your player
On the player page, you will see a demo of the player as you customize it.
Select Mount Point: It is available if you have more than one mount point configured on your radio.
Start Maximized: Player can be minimized to fit in a smaller area. When reduced, the album art is not displayed.
Allow Minimize/Maximize: You can allow the listener to maximize/minimize the player with an arrow in the top right corner. Disable this feature to use the player in an Iframe.
AutoPlay: Only enable it, if you want the player to start playing automatically.
Position on screen: You can choose if the player will show on the bottom left or right of the page where you integrate it.
Colour: You can personalize the colour of the player and see a live preview.
Enable HTTPS: It allows the player to be embedded on an HTTPS website and browser will show the page as secure. For external non-hosted radios, our proxy will convert your HTTP audio stream into an HTTPS stream. Note that in your statistics you will see our proxy IP instead of the end user's IP. Learn more.
Show logo: If you enable this option, the player will show your radio's logo, if there is no album art found for the current track.
How to integrate the player on your website
We provide three integration scripts for your website:
Embedding: This option allows you to incorporate the player at the bottom of a web page. It will stick there and become part of the page.
Popup: We provide a link that you can place anywhere and the player will open in a popup.
Iframe: Use this to place your player in a specific location on your website page.
