You can create as many mount points as you want. A mount point can be used to broadcast an additional bitrate or any other stream (from a different radio station). Your server will support the connection of one encoder per mount point. Each radio comes with a default mount point called.
Sections in this article:
Select the radio that you want to create a mount point. Go to Settings > Mount Point.
To create a new mount, choose New. Enter the mount point name, the DJ password, upload an Intro/Backup file, allow it to be public and to be relayed. Choose Create and Restart.
You will now see the new mount point listed. You can now connect to this mount point with your broadcasting software using the user/password.
You can also find all the connection information per mount point on the dashboard. You can see the options for each of them with the drop menu.
To delete the mount point, select it from the List, choose Delete.
Mount points are not supported by SHOUTcast 1. See our article on how to upgrade to SHOUTcast 2.
Your broadcasting software must support multiple mount points.
