You can relay another stream with your radio server. Your radio will then grab the online stream of that server and broadcast it on yours.
You can also use this feature if you need more than 1000 simultaneous listeners or if you quickly need to scale up a stream. Let's say your 100 simultaneous listeners server is full and you want to add more capacity without disconnecting them. You can create a new server and set it to relay your first server.
How to set up a relay
Select the radio that you want to use as a relay. This is the radio that your encoder (source) is not connected to.
Go to Settings > Relay.
If you have more than one mount point, you will have the option to choose which mount point you want to set up the relay.
Input the server information from which you want to relay. Enter the Source IP or hostname, the Source Port and the Source Mount Point.
Choose Save and Restart.
Your server will now try to connect to the source server and relay its stream. You can see the status on the dashboard of your radio.
